I turn to you, O Lord, in times of trouble and distress, and you lift me up on eagle’s wings. In the midst of pain and sorrow, you are my comfort and my hope, my refuge and my strength. You are the Good Shepherd who leads me through the valley of darkness, and I fear no evil with you by my side.

Teach me, O Lord, to follow in your footsteps, to love as you have loved, and to serve as you have served. Help me to be a light in the world, to bring hope to the hopeless, and to share your message of love and peace. And when my journey is complete, may I rest in your loving arms, knowing that I have fulfilled the purpose for which I was created.

In you, O Christ, I live and move and have my being. To you be all glory and honor, now and forevermore. Amen.
