Fatima Prayer #2 – Most Holy Trinity

Most Holy Trinity,
Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
I adore Thee profoundly.
I offer Thee the most precious Body, Blood, Soul
and Divinity of Jesus Christ,
present in all the tabernacles of the world,
in reparation for the outrages,
sacrileges and indifferences whereby He is offended.
And through the infinite merits of His Most Sacred Heart
and the Immaculate Heart of Mary,
I beg of Thee the conversion of poor sinners.

The Most Holy Trinity prayer, also known as the “Fatima Trinitarian Prayer,” has its origins in the apparitions at Fatima, Portugal in 1917. During one of the apparitions, the children saw a vision of an angel holding a Chalice and a Host, with drops of blood falling from the Host into the Chalice.

The angel then prostrated himself on the ground and recited a prayer which the children later learned was the “Most Holy Trinity” prayer. It is believed that this prayer was intended to prepare the children for the messages they were to receive from the Virgin Mary.

The prayer itself is a simple invocation of the Holy Trinity, and goes as follows: “Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I adore Thee profoundly. I offer Thee the most precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifference with which He Himself is offended.” It is a powerful prayer of adoration, and an offering of reparation for the sins committed against Christ in the Eucharist.

Like the Fatima Prayer, the Most Holy Trinity prayer became a popular addition to the Rosary and is often recited after each decade. It continues to inspire the faithful around the world with its profound message of adoration and reparation, and serves as a reminder of the power of prayer in the Catholic tradition.
