Consecration to the Trinity

Dear Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, today I consecrate myself to You. Please accept my offering of myself, my life, my will, my heart.

I acknowledge that You are the one true God, three Persons in one Divine Being. You are the source of all goodness and love, and I trust in Your infinite mercy and grace.

I ask that You unite me more closely to You and help me to live a life of holiness and love. May my thoughts, words, and actions be always in accordance with Your holy will.

Father, send Your Holy Spirit to fill me with His gifts and fruits. May He guide me in all my ways and help me to discern Your will.

Jesus, my Savior and Redeemer, please help me to conform myself to You. Teach me to love as You love and to serve others as You served.

Holy Spirit, Divine Comforter, please grant me Your peace and joy. Help me to persevere in faith, hope, and love and to grow ever closer to You, the Trinity of love.

Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, I offer myself to You today and always. Thank You for Your constant love and care for me. Amen.

The Consecration to the Trinity is a Catholic prayer that has its roots in the earliest days of Christianity. The belief in one God, three Persons—the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—is fundamental to Catholic theology and worship. The prayer seeks to consecrate oneself to this one true God, acknowledging His supremacy and asking for His guidance and protection.

The concept of the Trinity has been an integral part of Catholicism since the early Church. The Nicene Creed, one of the foundational texts of Christianity, affirms the belief in “one God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible, and in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God… and in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and Giver of Life.” The Trinity is considered a central mystery of the Catholic faith.

The prayer of Consecration to the Trinity seeks to deepen one’s relationship with this divine triune God. It is a way of offering oneself to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and asking for their protection and guidance. The prayer recognizes the supreme goodness and love of God, and the need for human beings to rely on His grace and mercy in all aspects of life.

Today, the Consecration to the Trinity prayer remains a powerful tool for Catholics to deepen their faith and devotion. It provides a tangible way for individuals and communities to consecrate themselves to God, acknowledging His triune nature and seeking His help and intercession in all aspects of their lives.
