The Miracle Prayer

Lord, Jesus, I come before You, just as I am.
I am sorry for my sins,
I repent of my sins,
please forgive me.
In Your name,
I forgive all others for what they have done against me.
I renounce Satan,
the evil spirits and all their works.
I give You my entire self.
Lord Jesus, now and forever,
I invite You into my life Jesus.
I accept You as my Lord and Saviour.
Heal me, change me,
strengthen me in body, soul and spirit.

Come Lord Jesus,
cover me with Your precious blood,
and fill me with Your Holy Spirit,
I love You Jesus.
I praise You Jesus.
I thank You Jesus.
I shall follow You every day of my life.

Amen.

The emergence of The Miracle Prayer

The Miracle Prayer is a Catholic prayer that seeks the intercession of Mary, the Mother of God, and St. Joseph, the patron saint of workers. The prayer asks for God’s blessing and protection, and seeks Mary and Joseph’s help in bringing about a miracle or resolution to a difficult situation.

The origins of the Miracle Prayer can be traced back to the early Church, where Mary and Joseph were revered as models of faith and devotion. Over time, various prayers and devotions were developed to seek their intercession, including the Miracle Prayer.

The prayer is structured around the repetition of a simple prayer of petition, which is repeated three times in a row. The words of the prayer invoke the power of God and the intercession of Mary and Joseph, asking for their help and blessing.

In modern times, the Miracle Prayer has become a popular Catholic devotion, particularly among those seeking help and guidance in times of need. Whether facing a personal crisis or simply seeking to deepen their faith, Catholics turn to the Miracle Prayer as a way of seeking God’s grace and intervention in their lives.

Overall, the history of the Miracle Prayer reflects the enduring importance of Catholic prayer and devotion in the lives of the faithful. Through prayers like this, Catholics seek to deepen their faith, seek help and guidance, and draw closer to the love and mercy of God.
